Job Description

Job Scope:

The Project Compliance Specialist ensures projects comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the SPARK system throughout their lifecycle. The role involves developing, enforcing, and monitoring compliance practices across Engineering and Project Management (EPM) processes. The specialist is responsible for identifying risks, ensuring compliance with established systems, and continuously refining processes to enhance efficiency and align with corporate objectives.

The position also includes leading audits, managing project scope, providing advisory services for contracts, and aligning business deliverables with corporate goals.

Principal Duties:

  • System Development:
  • Develop and implement EPM policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
  • Regularly assess EPM practices for regulatory compliance, adapting to any changes in laws or internal policies.
  • Audit Leadership:
  • Lead audits to evaluate EPM practices and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Standards Adherence:
  • Enforce standards to ensure consistent EPM practices across projects.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve EPM processes for effectiveness and compliance. Oversee the integration of SPARK processes with EPM practices.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
  • Decision Support:
  • Establish decision-making criteria using international best practices and tools.
  • Knowledge Management:
  • Ensure effective transfer of project knowledge, including risks and lessons learned, to new teams or stakeholders.
  • Scope Development:
  • Lead the development of project scope and contracting plans to prevent disputes.
  • Contract Advisory:
  • Provide guidance on EPM contracts to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Scope Management:
  • Oversee project scope to prevent contract claims and disputes, ensuring clarity and precision in scope definition.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with corporate objectives.
  • EPM Execution:
  • Execute other relevant tasks under the EPM business line to meet corporate objectives.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

A minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in Project Compliance, Engineering, or Project Management.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.

Preferred certifications:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
  • Certified Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (CGRCP)
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
