Position: Project Control Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Project Control Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and cost control. This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard workweek of 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including identifying critical path activities and potential delays
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project team and management
- Conduct cost analysis and develop budgets for projects
- Track project expenses and ensure they are within budget
- Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve any issues that may impact project schedule or budget
- Prepare and present project progress reports to management
- Implement and maintain project control processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide guidance and support to project team members on project control processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in project control or project management in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control principles
- Proficient in project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards is preferred
