Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support fabrication and project operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate activities between engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate project activities between engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality, and site teams.
- Assist in developing fabrication schedules, work plans, and material delivery timelines.
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with contract requirements and deadlines.
- Facilitate progress meetings and follow up on action items.
- Communicate project status, risks, and deviations to internal and external stakeholders.
Material & Procurement Coordination
- Track availability of pipes, fittings, welding consumables, and spools.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery and resolve supply issues.
Fabrication & Production Monitoring
- Monitor daily fabrication, welding, and spool progress in the workshop.
- Maintain detailed logs of completed, ongoing, and pending work.
- Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions with production supervisors.
- Support resource planning for manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Track fabrication costs, variations, and additional work requests (if applicable).
Documentation & Quality Control
- Maintain and distribute fabrication drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and revisions.
- Ensure fabrication activities comply with project quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with QC for inspection requests, welding traceability, and documentation.
- Maintain quality records, NCR logs, and test certificates.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Ensure workshop activities adhere to safety standards and project HSE guidelines.
- Support incident reporting and follow-up corrective actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in fabrication, piping, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding activities, and material control.
- Familiarity with quality standards, documentation, and HSE compliance.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project tracking tools.
