  • Ensure strong coordination between internal and external stakeholders, including design teams, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Project Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop detailed project plans that define clear objectives, tasks, and milestones for each phase of construction.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Manager to ensure that the project schedule is aligned with overall project goals and that all deadlines are met.

Budget & Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring all costs are accounted for and that the project is delivered within financial parameters.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring timely payments, cost-effective procurement of materials, and proper contract management.
  • Approve cost variations, change orders, and invoices, ensuring that any deviations from the budget are documented and justified.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure financial risks are minimized and the project remains profitable.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior leadership, including cost analysis, projected expenditure, and any financial risks.

Risk Management & Quality Control:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management plan, identifying and assessing potential risks to the project's schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Manage risks related to construction delays, regulatory changes, resource allocation, and external factors.
  • Monitor the quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international construction standards, including safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.

Team Management & Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor the project management team, including site engineers, planners, procurement specialists, and other key personnel.
  • Develop a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and high performance among all project staff.
  • Ensure that all team members have the necessary resources, training, and support to successfully execute their responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the project team to review progress, discuss challenges, and align on solutions.

Contract Management & Procurement:

  • Oversee the contract negotiation and procurement process, ensuring all contracts are clear, fair, and in line with the project's scope and budget.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure that materials, equipment, and services are available on schedule, at the right cost, and with the required quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions in subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
  • Resolve disputes with contractors or suppliers in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and ensure that their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are obtained on time.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, and updates to communicate project progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Address client concerns and escalate issues when necessary, maintaining a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
