Job Description – Project Director (Luxury Hotel Project)

Position Summary

Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the successful delivery of a luxury hotel project, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest quality and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the luxury hotel project from pre-construction through handover.
• Direct project teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee project planning, budget, schedule, procurement, and resource management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Manage project risks, commercial performance, claims, and change management.
• Review project progress, approve key deliverables, and report to executive management.
• Drive operational excellence, profitability, and successful project completion.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• 20+ years of construction experience, including at least 10 years in senior project leadership.
• Proven experience delivering luxury hotel or high-end hospitality projects for major contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of project management, contracts (FIDIC), commercial management, planning, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
