Project Director – Data Center
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic Project Director to oversee the full lifecycle of our data center developments. In this role, you will lead projects from initial site selection and design through to construction, commissioning, and final handover. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Direct internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors while ensuring all project facets align with client goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies and preconstruction plans designed to optimize schedules, costs, and operational performance.
- Financial & Risk Management: Define project baselines, manage budgets, monitor progress, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee design and engineering specifications, permit acquisition, and quality assurance to meet rigorous technical standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a proactive safety culture by integrating HSE protocols into every project phase and ensuring adherence to all legal and environmental requirements.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and lead contract negotiations and vendor management.
Qualifications
- Education: Full time BE/ B Tech in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical.
- Industry Experience: 15+ years in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC/CM) or working with Project management companies
- Should have handled hyperscale greenfield data centers. Data Center experience is must.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading multiple medium-to-large complex data center projects.
- Seniority: At least 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
