Project Director - Healthcare
Salary: 50 60k Dirhams Monthly
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Paritas works with a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting who is currently on the lookout for a Project Director to join their team in the Middle East.
The position will cover a mid-sized hospital project and will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the planning, design, and execution of a complex healthcare infrastructure project.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee project scope, cost estimation, scheduling, procurement, quality, and safety management.
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, planners, and project managers.
- Ensure projects meet healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., JCI, HTM, DHA, MOH).
- Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans.
- Conduct regular progress reviews, reporting status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Oversee tendering processes, contract negotiation, and claims management.
- Drive adherence to international best practices in construction and healthcare facility design.
Candidate Profile:
- Healthcare experience and a proven track record of PMC in the Gulf, preferably Dubai, are essential.
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes
- Solid experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record in delivering hospital or medical complex builds in the Middle East or internationally.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance, MEP systems, and medical facility standards.
- Excellent financial, scheduling, and reporting skills.
