Project Engineer

Are you a skilled construction professional with a passion for delivering luxury interior spaces ALEC FITOUT is looking for a Project Engineer to support the execution of a prestigious high-end fit-out project based in Ras Al Khaimah.

What You'll Do

As Project Engineer, you will:

• Execute daily site engineering duties while ensuring technical compliance with project specifications and drawings
• Prepare and monitor detailed lookahead schedules aligned with project timelines
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants for method statement submissions and work notification approvals
• Conduct internal inspections and raise WIRs through QA/QC for consultant sign-off
• Monitor progress of works on site and raise material or equipment requirements to section leadership
• Support the implementation of project safety measures and ensure compliance across site activities
• Close QA/QC observations, NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate internal snagging and external inspection punch lists prior to project handover
• Support testing and commissioning teams during the final stages of the project

What We're Looking For

• BEng, BTech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 57 years construction experience, with interior finishing or fit-out exposure
• Strong understanding of fit-out and Joinery materials and installation methods
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site instructions accurately
• Effective communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and site teams
• Strong attention to detail in inspections, documentation, and quality control
• Middle East project experience is advantageous
