Project Engineer

Job summary:

Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects within the manufacturing facility — from design through final handover — ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans (scope, timeline, budget) and oversee execution

• Coordinate across departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement)

• Supervise installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines

• Prepare periodic technical reports to track project progress

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO, HSE)

• Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers

• Troubleshoot technical issues arising during project execution

• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)

• +2 years of experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and ideally SAP

• Strong time management, negotiation, and communication skills

• Fluent English (especially important given international operations)

• PMP certification is a plus
