Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Landscape Project Engineer with a Civil Engineering background to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in site engineering, project coordination, and landscape-specific civil works, with a strong understanding of both hardscape and softscape elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for landscape projects
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution
- Review and interpret landscape drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards
- Prepare daily/weekly site reports and communicate updates to project managers or head office
- Assist in procurement planning and material approvals
- Ensure proper implementation of irrigation, drainage, grading, and paving works
- Resolve on-site issues and provide technical support to the construction team
- Liaise with clients and consultants during inspections and handovers
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in landscape (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and detailing
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, softscape/hardscape installation, and site grading
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with landscape contractors
- Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes
- Valid UAE driving license (if applicable)
