Job Title: Project Manager Set up and manage new industrial bakery factory projects

Package Range: up to QAR 25,000/monthly all inclusive(depending on experience and qualifications) + medical + year-end bonus (performance based).

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong expertise in setting up, project managing and developing Industrial Baking Operations & Factory Projects to lead and manage the full setup of new baking facilities. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project planning, coordination, and execution from raw materials, equipment procurement and installation to production readiness. This role requires close collaboration with our internal team of CAD designers, raw material partners, machinery partners, investors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the successful establishment of a high-quality and efficient project outcome. The typical factory size is minimum 60000 sqf with a 12 ton/daily productioncapacity for 70 ++ baked good different SKU's. Office base will be at regional HQ in Doha, Qatar with new projects to be developed and existing projects to be managed within the GCC & Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end setup of the projects, including facility design, layout planning, product recipe, machinery installation, production readiness, logistics, marketing plan, business plans etc.
  • Act as the main point of contact with investors, equipment and ingredient suppliers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all project activities to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and according to technical specifications.
  • Oversee the selection, procurement, and installation of bakery machinery, bakery ingredients and equipments in line with operational needs and safety standards.
  • Review and interpret AutoCAD drawings for plant layout, electrical, and mechanical installations.
  • Supervise and guide technical teams, engineers, and vendors to ensure smooth integration of systems and machinery.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and international suppliers for bakery machinery and raw materials.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports, budgets, and weekly timelines updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, hygiene, and safety regulations relevant to food and bakery production.
  • Coordinate with R&D, production, and operations teams to ensure that machinery and ingredient setups meet production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (BBA education preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within the baking a/o bakery food related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of baking ingredients, processes, and industrial baking machinery (semi-automatic).
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical (MEP) and layout CAD drawings.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams in office and on site.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, team management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel within the GCC region as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and vendor management skills, with attention to technical and operational details.

Preferred Attributes

  • Project Management Professional or equivalent project management certification.
  • Previous experience in setting up or managing industrial or automated bakery machinery
  • Knowledge of regional food safety and equipment compliance standards.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
