Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing local change initiatives and acting as an implementation lead for larger group-wide projects. The role ensures that projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards while adhering to the bank's project management policies, governance frameworks, and methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess business needs for change initiatives and support the development of business cases.
- Define project scope, objectives, governance structure, and key deliverables.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate resources across business units, IT teams, and project stakeholders.
- Lead and manage project teams, including staff assigned from business units on a project basis.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Identify potential risks or issues and escalate when necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Present project updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure projects are executed in compliance with the bank's project management frameworks and governance standards.
- Support the implementation of local initiatives and sub-projects that contribute to the bank's strategic transformation and operational improvement programs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 Years of experience in project management, change management, or strategic initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating resources across departments.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance frameworks is an advantage.
