The client is headquartered in Saudi Arabia and is looking to hire a Project Manager - BMS for their team at Dammam.
Client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage Building Management System (BMS) projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, proven project management experience, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver BMS solutions safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of BMS projects, while maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of BMS projects, including planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal engineering and service teams.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with client and contract expectations.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, progress reports, cost reports, and resource plans.
- Ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Manage change orders, variations, claims, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support site teams during installation, testing, integration, and commissioning of BMS systems.
- Ensure proper project documentation, including method statements, submittals, approvals, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of project delivery practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in BMS, HVAC controls, automation, or related building systems.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, HVAC controls, energy management, and integrated building automation solutions.
- Experience working with BMS platforms, field devices, controllers, and system integration.
- Good understanding of project contracts, commercial terms, budgeting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and commissioning practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
