About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, execution-focused Head of Special Projects to work directly with leadership on high-priority, cross-functional initiatives. This is a CEO-adjacent role — you will be the person who takes ambiguous, complex, or time-sensitive challenges and turns them into structured, executed outcomes.
You are not a consultant. You are a builder, problem-solver, and executor who thrives in ambiguity and delivers results where others get stuck.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership
- Own and drive the end-to-end execution of high-priority projects assigned by the CEO/leadership
- Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans with clear milestones, owners, and deadlines
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing quality or speed
- Act as the CEO's extended arm on critical initiatives requiring senior-level attention
Cross-Functional Execution
- Work across all departments (Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, HR) to align efforts and remove blockers
- Hold teams accountable to deliverables without direct authority
- Identify dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks before they become problems
- Bridge the gap between strategy and day-to-day execution
Problem Solving & Analysis
- Diagnose complex business problems and develop structured solutions
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to surface insights that inform executive decisions
- Build business cases, frameworks, and recommendations for leadership review
- Benchmark against market best practices and bring external perspectives in
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on special projects
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and updates for leadership and board
- Manage relationships with partners, vendors, and government entities when required
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to all levels of the organization
Innovation & New Initiatives
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or operational improvements
- Lead pilot programs, test new ideas, and scale what works
- Support the launch of new products, markets, or business lines
- Drive change management when new initiatives require organizational shifts
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, or project management
- Background in top-tier consulting(McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big 4) or high-growth startups is a strong plus
- Proven track record of delivering complex, ambiguous projects on time
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working directly with C-suite or founders
- PMP, MBA, or equivalent is a plus
- Bilingual: Arabic & English
