We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle from planning and execution through commissioning and handover while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and proven experience managing EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to completion and final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within approved timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Review project contracts, specifications, and scope requirements.
- Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures.
- Manage variation orders, claims, and contract amendments.
- Support commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, and claims management.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor project financial performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project progress meetings and prepare status reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, government authorities, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company HSEQ policies.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- Monitor QA/QC processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Allocate resources efficiently and monitor team performance.
- Mentor and develop project personnel.
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project KPIs and performance metrics.
- Resolve project issues proactively.
- Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- 10–15 years of experience in construction and oil & gas project management.
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing EPC, infrastructure, industrial, energy, or large-scale construction projects.
- UAE/GCC project experience is essential.
- Experience with ADNOC projects, refineries, pipelines, offshore/onshore facilities, or major EPC contractors is highly desirable.
