Job Description

Position Objective:

  • The Telecom Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial and technical coordination with TowerCo partners, overseeing civil scope documentation including RFPs and BOQs, governing invoice processes, and supporting digitization and automation initiatives related to project financial workflows.
  • The role ensures contractual compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency across telecom mobile infrastructure projects.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial and technical coordination with TowerCo partners across telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Act as the primary interface between internal teams and TowerCo stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment on project scope, pricing structures, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage change requests, scope clarifications, and contractual amendments when required.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed technical standards and commercial terms.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for civil works related to telecom mobile infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and validate detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in coordination with engineering and project teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of quantities, scope definitions, and cost structures.
  • Support technical and commercial evaluation of contractor submissions.
  • Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams during contractor selection processes.
  • Oversee invoice validation and reconciliation processes with TowerCo partners.
  • Ensure invoices are aligned with approved BOQ quantities, project milestones, and contractual terms.
  • Lead the resolution of billing discrepancies and commercial disputes.
  • Monitor invoice status and financial exposure to prevent revenue leakage.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure proper documentation and payment approvals.
  • Lead initiatives to digitize and automate invoice workflows and financial tracking processes.
  • Design and implement systems to improve invoice tracking, reporting, and operational transparency.
  • Coordinate with Finance and IT teams to integrate automated workflow solutions within ERP or project systems.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor invoice cycle times and approval status.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to commercial agreements, RFPs, BOQs, and financial processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cost management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in telecom infrastructure or mobile network deployment projects.
  • Experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven experience in preparing RFPs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for telecom or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in working with Tower Companies (TowerCo) or telecom infrastructure partners.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial processes, and digital workflow automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil works related to telecom mobile sites and infrastructure deployment.
  • Knowledge of commercial contract structures, invoice validation, and financial governance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project reporting tools.
