About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager – Core Banking to lead the planning and delivery of critical software initiatives related to our core banking systems and digital banking platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex software projects within the banking or financial services industry, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-scale systems.
You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions aligned with banking standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of core banking software projects.
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align on project objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.
Delivery & Execution
- Manage software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment with banking regulations and security standards.
Reporting
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software project management
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software projects
Technical Understanding
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience working with engineering and product teams
Methodologies
- Experience managing projects using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
Professional Skills
