Overall Purpose of the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing the process of project delivery from initiation to closure. This

includes addressing client requirements, ensuring all aspects and specifications are met, and reflecting DAO's values and image in

all deliverables. The role involves establishing and managing systems and processes that ensure consistent program and project

delivery while implementing best practices for quality assurance.

Build and maintain strategic client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Enhance DAO's reputation as a center of excellence in project management.

Expectations & Responsibilities related to your role

1. DESIGN

Set the strategy for project delivery and align it with DAO's organizational goals.

Act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring their needs are met through tailored solutions.

Define the project's culture and ensure its alignment with DAO's core values.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the market to ensure competitive positioning.

Act as a role model and leader, driving performance and celebrating successes.

2. TECHNICAL AND QA/QC

Implement ISO-compliant quality, health, safety, and environmental systems.

Lead the development and execution of project strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Oversee contractual control and compliance to secure successful project outcomes.

Ensure effective project controls, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices are in place.

Manage cross-functional teams and resources for optimal project delivery.

Conduct project reviews, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Build and maintain a high-performance project management team.

Prepare clear go/no-go propositions for decision-making.

Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices.

3. PEOPLE AND CULTURE

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Promote skill enhancement and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Ensure alignment of individual and team goals with organizational objectives.

4. STAKEHOLDERS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.

Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and exceeding expectation

Additional Responsibilities

Develop presentation materials and design booklets for all stages of the design process, including graphical

illustrations that fulfil the project's design vision and align with office standards and templates.

Create high-detail 3D models throughout various design stages for conceptual and technical purposes,

ensuring alignment with the project's design vision and office standards.

Assist in developing conceptual visuals and illustrations using different visualizing software and techniques.
