Project Manager - High Rise

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UAE based Project Manager to join a leading main contractor based in Dubai. The successful candidate will have extensive high-rise building experience and a proven track record of delivering projects from excavation through to practical completion and final handover.

This role requires a commercially aware and technically strong Project Manager with full accountability for programme, cost, quality and HSE performance across complex vertical developments. You will lead multidisciplinary teams while managing client relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for project delivery from mobilisation to handover, ensuring alignment with contractual, commercial and technical requirements

Lead and coordinate site teams, construction managers, engineers, subcontractors and specialist trades to achieve programme milestones

Develop and manage the master programme, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies where required

Oversee construction sequencing, procurement strategy, logistics planning and resource allocation

Ensure compliance across substructure, superstructure, faade, MEP coordination and finishing works in line with approved drawings and specifications

Maintain strict control of project budgets, variations, claims and cost forecasting

Enforce adherence to HSE policies and UAE regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture across the project

Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover procedures

Provide regular reporting to senior management on programme, commercial performance, risk and resource planning

Requirements

Must be based in the UAE

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Minimum 1015 years experience with reputable main contractors

Proven track record delivering high-rise towers in Dubai or the GCC

Demonstrated experience managing the full project lifecycle from excavation and substructure through faade, MEP coordination, finishing, testing, commissioning and handover

Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, commercial management and claims processes

In-depth knowledge of local regulations, authority approvals and Dubai Municipality requirements

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
