Job Description
Overview
We are currently managing the search for a Project Manager with a global manufacturing company to oversee the technical projects across Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon. The role manages assigned projects from pre-contracting through execution and handover, working closely with site teams and customers on technical equipment installations.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the customer's technical point of contact through the life of a project
- Control installation, commissioning and handover in coordination with site managers and customer project coordinators
- Own all project documentation, including project files, layouts and schedules
- Coordinate technical team availability to deliver projects on time and in full
- Support offer preparation, feasibility studies, budgets and planning
- Initiate process improvements and technical innovations
- Report and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
- Coach and develop less experienced team members
Key requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, PMP certification is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant vocational experience, with some leadership experience in a technical or disciplinary capacity
- Fluent English, Arabic/German/French are a plus
- Intermediate AutoCAD and Microsoft Project, comfortable in Microsoft Office
- Able to operate and manage within a matrix organisation, across regional teams and stakeholders
