Job Description

Designation: PROJECT MANAGER -MEP

Minimum Experience: 10 Years of UAE Experience

Job Location : UAE

Salary Budget : 22,000 AED to 23,000 AED (Depends on experience)

Nationality : Any Nationals Except Pakistan & Bangladesh

Industry experience : Buildings & Construction Industry

Any other mandatory details:

Bachelor's Degree:A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Advanced Degree(optional but beneficial):A master's degree in engineering management, business administration, or a specialized area of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering can be advantageous.

Work Experience:

Typically, 10 to 15 years of experience in MEP engineering or construction management -Abu Dhabi Projects Experience

At least 5 years in a project management role, managing large-scale MEP projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) License: Preferred, especially for roles with significant engineering oversight.

Project Management Professional (PMP):Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly beneficial and often required.

Project Management Software:Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Primavera, or other project management and scheduling tools.

MEP Design Software:Familiarity with MEP design tools like Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and related software.

Project Management:Expertise in planning, executing, and closing MEP projects, including scope management, timeline management, and resource allocation.

Leadership:Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, manage conflicts, and delegate tasks effectively.

Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Problem-Solving:Aptitude for identifying issues, analyzing problems, and developing effective solutions.

Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

Quality Assurance:Ensuring all project activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Attention to Detail:Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Organizational Skills:Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Adaptability:Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.

Ethics and Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems for construction projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Ensure that all MEP project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding MEP project matters.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates.
  • Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate MEP design efforts with architects, structural engineers, and other design team members.
  • Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into overall project design.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
  • Track project expenses and provide regular financial updates.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to clients and senior management.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in project delivery.
