We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager MEP Contracting for our client to be based out of their Abu Dhabi Office.

Purpose-

To plan, execute, control and monitor the project activities by application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to deliver the project within the contract period whilst maintaining highest standards with minimum of cost within the estimated budget.

Responsibility-

  • Review, evaluate, submit and obtain the approval for the construction programme so that the project works can be executed in parallel with Contractors/Clients requirements.
  • Plan and Implement necessary tools to minimize wastages of all forms of resources and control and monitor continuously to ensure that the highest productivities are achieved.
  • Execute, control and monitor all the project activities in accordance with the approved construction programme to ensure that project can be completed within the stipulated time
  • Implement, control and monitor cost reduction tools and execute the project activities with maximum cost effectiveness so that the project can be delivered at a minimum cost within the budget
  • Assign, manage and administer the project staff to ensure that the project works are facilitated with adequate resources by most efficient and effective means
  • Monitor and control all forms of technical and commercial queries and advise concerned Engineering/Commercial teams to ensure that project scopes are properly clarified and subsequent entitlements are secured.
  • Follow and monitor local authority requirements by means of effective coordination with necessary parties to ensure that such obligations are clarified, fulfilled and eventually the project targets are achieved.
  • Evaluate, direct, monitor project handing over procedures and close-out requirements to ensure that the required time frames are met and ultimate project targets are secured.

Skills-

  • Minimum educational , professional and vocation qualification required -
  • B Sc Engineering or similar discipline with construction working background having worked in large scale companies.
  • (10-15) years of overall experience.
  • Strong Management skills, Communication Skills required
  • Should possess high degree of result oriented hard working attitude
  • Should be a team player and should have strong leadership skills
  • High technical competencies in Construction (Mechanical/Electrical) are necessary
  • Fluency in English language is a must.
