The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing specific packages in the project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery within set timelines, budget, and OMNIYAT quality standards. This role requires strategic management and collaboration of project teams, both internal and external, including designers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project goals and resolve issues proactively. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
The Project Manager will be also responsible for supporting the Project Director in all aspects of the project's life cycle, thus providing an overall management solution for all project processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the Project Delivery Team (the Omniyat project delivery team and the Project Contractor.)
- Ensure effective management and development of the Project Delivery Team in terms of stakeholder relationships, commercial parameters and people management such that best practice, integrity and legal compliance is consistently met.
- Oversee that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the Project.
- Manage the outcomes from the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments including all sustainability strategies, site placement, mitigation, reinstatement and offset plans.
- Fully understand the context of the Project within the wider Development area.
- Contribute to the refinement of and taking ownership of the Delivery Strategy for the Project within the Integrated Project Delivery Team.
- Manage the planning and implementation of Project Delivery from the initiation of the construction delivery phase to handover of the Project.
- Monitor and report on progress of the Project to all internal stakeholders by effectively communicating the Project expectations in a timely and clear manner.
- Provide input during the development of the design, including design stage reviews and value engineering to ensure optimisation of Project constructability and buildability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, PMP is a plus.
- 10-14 Years of experience in similar role.
- Experience with a real estate developer on high-end building projects.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
