With our operations hub in Dubai and a dedicated joinery and fabrication factory in Ajman, we specialize in high-end commercial, residential, and retail projects. We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager with proven UAE experience in the interior fit-out sector. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from inception to handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Crucially, this role requires strong coordination between our Dubai project sites and our Ajman factory to ensure seamless production and installation of joinery and fit-out elements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage the full lifecycle of fit-out projects, ensuring strict adherence to the project schedule and scope.
- Coordinate daily with Site Engineers and Foremen to monitor progress and workmanship.
Factory & Logistics Coordination
- Act as the primary link between the site team in Dubai and the production team in Ajman.
- Ensure joinery and fabrication orders are placed on time and prioritize factory production schedules to meet site deadlines.
- Oversee the logistics of material delivery from Ajman to Dubai sites.
Financial & Contract Management
- Monitor project budgets and manage costs effectively.
- Identify and document Variations (VOs) and submit claims to the client/consultant for approval.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials are ordered within budget specifications.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for Clients, Consultants, and Landlords (e.g., DDA, Dubai Municipality, Mall Management).
- Ensure all necessary permits and NOCs are obtained prior to work commencement.
Quality & Handover
- Enforce strict Quality Control (QC) and Health & Safety (HSE) standards on site.
- Manage the snagging process and ensure timely project handover and close-out documentation (O&M manuals).
Requirements
Mandatory Experience
- Must have previous experience as a Project Manager in the UAE.
- Minimum 57 years of total experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years specifically in Interior Fit-Out & Joinery.
- Proven track record of managing projects involving custom joinery and woodworks.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
- Strong technical understanding of fit-out detailing, MEP coordination, and joinery production.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
Other Requirements
- UAE Driving License is mandatory (Required for travel between Dubai sites and Ajman factory).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines typical of the fit-out industry.
- Currently located in UAE and available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
