Job Description

Role

The Project Manager will be based full-time on site and will be responsible for running the project from mobilization to handover.

Responsibilities

  • Take full charge of site works from start to handover.
  • Run daily site activities for civil, architectural, cleanroom, MEP, and utility works.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers and keep the work moving as planned.
  • Act as the main site contact with the main contractor and the head office.
  • Make sure work is done as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Review method statements before work starts and make sure the site follows them.
  • Track progress against the approved project schedule and report delays early.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Control site manpower, materials, and daily site costs.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and local regulations.
  • Enforce site safety rules and stop unsafe work when required.
  • Lead site meetings and issue clear weekly progress updates.
  • Make sure all outstanding works are finished before handover.

Requirements

Educational Background (one of the following):

Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture. Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or industrial projects.

Demonstrated experience managing projects involving steel structure buildings and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems.

Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.

  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of steel structure fabrication, erection, and QA/QC requirements.

Solid knowledge of MEP systems, design coordination, installation methodologies, and commissioning processes.

Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, PMP framework beneficial).

Competency with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.

Good understanding of HSE practices, risk assessment, and safety compliance.

Management & Leadership Skills:

Excellent leadership, team supervision, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Proven ability in resource planning, scheduling, cost control, and scope management.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and reporting skills (daily/weekly/monthly project reports).

High organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle client communication professionally and maintain positive relationships.

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Safety certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are a plus.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work on-site as required and adapt to project demands.

Valid driving license (if required by company policy).

Proficiency in English; Arabic
