Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee all Project Management activities at ADG. This executive role is responsible for leading Mixed Use Property management, Facility Management, Design Management, and Construction Management, project management ensuring seamless execution in line with ADG's regulations and strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with the company's growth plans.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategy Formulation
- Collaborate with the ADG Board to develop and translate the company's strategic vision into actionable business plans.
- Define departmental objectives & KPIs, monitor performance, and implement measures to achieve targets, mitigate risks, and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Aim to complete at least 90% of projects on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Policies & Processes
- Implement and uphold departmental policies and processes to meet organizational objectives.
Budget & Cost Control
- Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, ensuring expenditures stay within approved limits.
Operational Activities
- Lead all project management operations, ensuring activities adhere to budgets and timelines.
- Develop and enhance project management strategies, frameworks, tools, and processes to optimize project delivery and portfolio management.
- Oversee the project portfolio to maximize ROI and strategic impact, prioritizing projects based on organizational goals and resource availability.
- Manage third-party service providers and contractors, ensuring adherence to ADG's standards and procedures.
- Track project progress against KPIs, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and maximize benefits.
- Oversee design management activities, including tendering, blueprints, and project manuals, ensuring compliance with ADG standards.
- Lead procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
People Management
- Identify staffing needs and recruit top talent for the department.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project management team.
- Conduct performance appraisals, recommend promotions, and identify training needs to foster continuous development.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement and refine standardized project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
- Drive initiatives to reduce project cycle times and improve process compliance.
Reports & Monitoring
- Regularly update project progress, resource utilization, and budget variances against corporate KPIs.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Mechanical, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional project management certifications (PMP) are mandatory.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate project development and management.
- Strong contracts management expertise with proven experience in FIDIC-based projects.
- Strong proficiency in English and Arabic Language.
