Job Summary:
A Project Manager will oversee key client projects, ensuring their timely completion within scope
and budget.This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering comprehensive project documentation. And is responsible for tracking project progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring all project objectives are met efficiently.
Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with superior analytical and planning abilities
with experience within Supply Chain projects. You must have experience in managing customers
expectations as well as excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ideal
candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing several projects
simultaneously in different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. You will oversee the
progress of operations & be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics to reach the project goals in the most efficient and effective way. The processes & decisions driven through this role will have a direct impact on customer fulfilment. The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal teams for seamless project execution.
Ensure on time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery of projects.
Define project scope, objectives, and ensure technical feasibility with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans to track and monitor progress.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Measure and report project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Maintain client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
Establish and maintain third-party vendor relationships.
Prepare comprehensive project documentation.
Delegate tasks based on team members strengths and experience.
Analyze project performance and adjust plans as necessary to achieve goals.
Meet budgetary objectives and perform financial analyses to adjust project constraints.
Attending conferences and training sessions for continuous professional development.
Collaborate with the PMO on customer care and continuous improvement projects.
Leads Steering Committee meetings with C-level suite
Escalates identified risks to the accountable stakeholder
Important Competences:
Qualification:
PMP certification or equivalent qualification
Supply Chain Background:
Understanding the basics of supply chain concepts to process expert
information accurately.
Composition:
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management
principles
Project Management:
Thorough understanding of project management techniques and
methods; experience in IT Project Management or Supply Chain Project Management
Software:
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working
knowledge of project management software (Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar)
is a strong advantage
Self-Sufficiency:
The candidate must be independent and flexible, with strong customer focus
Competency:
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Team Collaboration:
Must have the ability to work in cross functional teams and drive decisions.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal;
Travel: Flexible to travel
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate fields of study or equivalent work experience.
Master's Degree is a plus.
Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent
Experience: 5 or more years experience in a similar role
Project Management: Proven working experience in project management
Team lead: Proven ability to lead and manage a small team (3+ years)
