We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Piling to plan, execute, and deliver piling and foundation projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role involves full responsibility for project execution, coordination with stakeholders, and management of site teams and resources.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end execution of piling projects including bored piles, CFA, driven piles, shoring, and foundation works.
- Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and method statements.
- Ensure projects are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Team & Site Management
- Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate daily site activities and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, plant, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site meetings and toolbox talks.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors for approvals, inspections, and progress updates.
- Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Handle client queries and resolve site issues proactively.
Commercial & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and productivity.
- Coordinate with QS for variations, claims, and progress billing.
- Ensure effective material planning and procurement coordination.
Quality, Health & Safety
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations, company safety policies, and local authority requirements.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure pile testing and documentation are properly maintained.
- Promote a strong safety culture on site.
Risk & Problem Management
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues promptly.
- Manage delays and implement recovery plans if required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the piling / foundation industry.
- Strong knowledge of piling methods, equipment, materials, and testing procedures.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and building projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Project / Primavera, MS Office.
- UAE experience preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
