Role Description
The Project Manager for the construction tanks will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from conception to completion. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead the project team, ensuring each member understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Professional Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
- 10 years of experience in project management within Energy industry, specifically in the construction of storage tanks.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards in the industry.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
