Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our client's growing team in the delivery of major airport infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These roles are integral to the successful execution of high-profile, large-scale developments within the aviation sector. Candidates with prior experience in airport construction and management will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
Senior Project Manager:
- Lead and manage the airport development project from initiation through to completion.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring it meets timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Provide strategic direction, resolve conflicts, and mitigate project risks.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Report project progress to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
Project Manager:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the airport construction project.
- Coordinate between design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to maintain efficiency and prevent delays.
- Implement project control measures and track project performance.
- Ensure project activities comply with aviation safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and government authorities as necessary.
- Prepare and deliver project progress reports, status updates, and presentations to senior management.
Assistant Project Manager:
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution and ensure that milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Assist in managing project documentation, including contracts, reports, and communication logs.
- Help track project schedules, resources, and expenses.
- Facilitate coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Support risk management efforts and contribute to resolving project-related challenges.
- Assist with site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare project status updates and reports for senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Senior Project Manager:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects, with at least 5 years in aviation or airport projects.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airport design, and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with significant exposure to aviation projects.
- Strong understanding of airport infrastructure and relevant regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Assistant Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, with exposure to airport or aviation projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experienced working for a main contractor.
- Experience in managing large infrastructure or airport projects in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.
- Familiarity with international aviation and construction standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws related to airport construction.
