Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of projects, ensuring consistency with organizational strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, initiate, and implement projects in alignment with company objectives.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Break down projects into clear tasks, milestones, and timelines.
- Allocate and manage project resources efficiently.
- Lead, coordinate, and support project teams to ensure successful execution.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage project budgets and ensure effective cost control throughout all stages.
- Monitor project revenues, profitability, and P&L performance.
- Oversee client invoicing, billing accuracy, and timely collections.
- Track cash flows, forecast financial needs, and address variances proactively.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project profitability and minimize risks.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports covering progress, risks, and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage change requests to meet deliverables.
- Evaluate project outcomes against defined objectives.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Build and maintain strong relationships that support long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mandatory).
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
- 710 years of proven experience in project management.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, and control methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and P&L tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; MS Project is a strong plus.
- Excellent command of English (Arabic proficiency preferred).
- Solid understanding of contractual, regulatory, and safety compliance within project environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
