As a Project Procurement Manager at Siemens Energy, you will target experienced procurement professionals with a strategic mindset, ready to lead meaningful projects that drive procurement excellence across Gas Services sites. You will collaborate on cross-site sourcing initiatives, enhancing supplier relationships and optimizing procurement activities to ensure cost competitiveness and operational efficiency. How You'll Make An Impact
- Act as the primary escalation point for site procurement teams, providing critical support and guidance.
- Review and approve O&M purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Lead contractual negotiations for pooled demand initiatives across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize value through demand aggregation.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement improvement opportunities.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in procurement management and strategic sourcing.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Ability to analyze spend and develop category strategies for various commodities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and governance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex procurement challenges.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
