Job Position: Project Supervisor
Reports to: Projects Engineer and Projects Manager
Job Objectives:
The Projects Supervisor is responsible for onsite project coordination/activities/supervision within an assigned location. The function is also responsible for ensuring proper technical/quality/timeline scope performance standards and metrics relating to timely completion of projects. Develop and implement detailed project work plans (in line with project work schedule) and review as appropriate to meet project needs and requirements. Identify construction related project risks to be resolved through consistent monitoring. Close onsite visits and coordinate with workers to ensure the continuous flow of work.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Prepares the detailed site Work Plan (WP) together with the Projects Manager (PM); Projects Engineer (PE), Projects Coordinator (PC) and Projects Planning Engineer (PPE) in line with the project work schedule.
- Prepares a weekly progress report to be submitted to the PM, PE and PPE.
- Organizes the installation works on site in line with the WP and makes the necessary adjustments if needed.
- Has a good technical knowledge about the works to be done. Has the WP adjusted in line with technical challenges and if necessary, gets assistance from the PE technical team and PMO.
- Instructs the teams on site in line with the real site requirements.
- Gets the Specialist Supervisor (SS) when required for different activities at the required time.
- Critical when it comes to quality (both technically and aesthetically).
- Responsible of the site HSE and workers compliance with Adearest and client safety standard.
- Organizes toolbox talks.
- Takes the responsibility on the materials and tools shipped to site.
- Discusses with PC whether special equipment (cranes, scissor, lift, etc.) is required.
- Serves as the link between the PE and the Specialist Supervisor (SS).
- Efficient use of company assets and tools.
- Coordinates site activities with main contractor and sub-contractors.
- Resolves site issues with main contractor and sub-contractors. Brings up unresolved site issues to the PE & PM immediately without delay to find a solution.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in project management & MEP Contracting & EPC Companies.
- Strong experience in Refrigeration/Cold store insulation.
