The Projects Directoris responsible forleading and executing major strategic projects for GulfCryo, withan initialfocus on advanced technologies projects and large-scale CCU projects (>500 TPD), based in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to direct project delivery, the role is accountable forestablishingand maturing GulfCryo'sproject execution capability, including organization structure, processes, systems, and delivery partners.The role willeventuallytake responsibility for leading the full project execution portfolio across the Group, including merchant and non-merchant projects.

ProjectLeadership& Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of advanced technology and CCU projects, from FEED through EPC, commissioning, and handover.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE.
  • Ensure projects meet client, regulatory, and internal technical standards.

Advanced Technologies & CCU Focus

  • Lead projects involving advanced industrial gas technologies, including hydrogen-related applications, CCUs, and complex process plants.
  • Interface with major customers(e.g. Aramco, Sabic, etc.), ensuring alignment with their technical, commercial, and governance requirements.
  • Oversee projects exceeding 500 TPD capacity, managing complexity, risk, and scale.

Project Organization & Capability

  • Establish the project organization structure, roles, and governance model.
  • Define and implement project management processes, stage gates, and approval frameworks.
  • Develop and implement project costing, budgeting, and forecasting systems.
  • Set up and govern a project documentation and controls management system.
  • Establish and manage FEED and EPC delivery models.

Partner & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic partners for FEED, EPC, construction, and specialized technologies.
  • Support contract strategy, bid evaluation, and negotiations in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
  • Build a reliable execution ecosystem to support future project scale-up.

Commercial & Financial Oversight

  • Own project budgets, cash flow, cost control, and change management.
  • Drive margin protection, claims management, and financial discipline.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to senior management.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Engage closely with internal stakeholders (Technical, Operations, Commercial, Finance).
  • Provide clear, structured updates to senior leadership and the CEO on project progress and risks.

HSE, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE, QA/QC, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a strong safety and performance-driven culture across all projects.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering(Master'spreferred)

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in EPC / industrial / Oil & Gas project execution
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex projects, including advanced process or technology-driven facilities.
  • Strong exposure to FEED, EPC models, contracts, costing, and project controls.
  • Prior experience working in KSA or similar regulatory environments is an advantage.

  • Commercially astute with solid financial understanding.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in high-visibility, high-pressure projects.

Languages:

  • English & Arabic languages proficiency is required.
