Proposal Specialist I

JOB PURPOSE:

responsible for coordinating and preparing proposals in response to customer requests for quotations (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and other bid opportunities. ensuring proposals are compliant, complete, accurate, and submitted on time. work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to gather the necessary information and develop competitive proposals that meet customer requirements

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Review and analyze customer RFQs and RFPs to identify requirements, scope of work, and deliverables

• Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and proposal schedules
• Gather and synthesize technical and commercial information from various sources, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams

• Write and edit proposal content, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, technical specifications, and company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and 
  prepare cost estimates and pricing models
• Prepare and submit completed proposals on time, ensuring compliance with 
  customer requirements and company policies and procedures
• Track proposal outcomes and update proposal databases and files
• Participate in proposal debriefs and continuous improvement activities to enhance the proposal development process

 

 

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent

Preferred Experience:
2 to 4 years.
