Job Title: Proposal Analyst

Reports To: Group Director - Sales

Location: Dubai

We are a fast-growing international Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Consultancy with our headquarters in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). We also have our own Technology company creating bespoke cutting edge RegTech solutions. Our business presence covers multiple jurisdictions with offices in the UAE, KSA, UK & Ireland, Singapore, Porto, Pakistan, Qatar and now in South Africa. We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment and Technology services (the Services) to a large number of clients including global, regional and local financial services institutions, governments and other industry partners. As part of our global expansion plan, we are now looking for an ambitious and agile professional with a strong background in proposal writing to join our growing team.

Mission / Purpose of the Role

We are looking for someone who can take charge of the full proposal lifecycle, from gathering inputs across teams to crafting compelling, tailored responses that demonstrate our value proposition. You will work closely with business development, compliance, risk, legal, PMO, and product teams to ensure every submission is strategic, polished, and on time.

Deliver timely, accurate, and strategic proposals across all client types.

Success metrics / measures:

  • Timely RFP/RFI submissions.
  • Ensure consistent alignment across BD, compliance, legal, product, and delivery teams.

Create and maintain a centralized, high-quality proposal content library.

Success metrics / measures:

  • Repository updated quarterly with 100% accuracy.

Improve pitch deck quality and relevance for enterprise prospects.

Success metrics / measures:

  • Increased conversion from pitch to next-stage conversations.

Strengthen proposal lifecycle visibility and tracking.

Success metrics / measures:

  • Proposal tracker maintained with real-time accuracy

Key Accountabilities

RFP & RFI Ownership

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of proposals, bids, tenders, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, client-specific responses.
  • Track timelines, manage inputs, and ensure timely delivery under tight SLAs.

Success indicators

  • Timely submissions made.
  • Zero missing or inaccurate sections in submissions.
  • Positive feedback achieved.

Enterprise Pitch Deck Creation

Key responsibilities

  • Craft and tailor compelling pitch decks for enterprise prospects across JAP's consulting services and azakaw's RegTech solutions.
  • Collaborate with business development leads to ensure each deck resonates with the client's pain points and industry priorities.

Success indicators

  • Pitch decks delivered within required timelines.
  • Increased engagement metrics from prospects.

Knowledge Base & Content Repository

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a central content library (past RFIs/RFPs, decks, case studies, bios).
  • Update materials regularly with delivery, product, and sales teams.
  • Standardize reusable content while ensuring accuracy.

Success indicators

  • Repository updated quarterly.
  • Reduced turnaround time for proposals.

Pre-Sales Communication & Coordination

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the communication bridge across departments during pre-sales.
  • Facilitate consistent internal communication throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Maintain version control, stakeholder alignment, and timely responses across teams.

Success indicators

  • Zero missed handoffs.
  • Smooth internal coordination throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Project Management & Execution

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a proposal pipeline tracker across RFIs, RFPs, bids, and pitch timelines.
  • Assign tasks, manage internal deadlines, and escalate delays as needed.
  • Support BD and PMO by ensuring proposals move quickly through internal review cycles.
  • Flag bottlenecks across BD, compliance, and delivery.

Success indicators

  • Tracker accuracy maintained.
  • Reduction in proposal cycle delays.
  • Proposal reviews follow a smooth process and targets are achieved.

Role-Specific Competencies

  • Exposure to compliance, risk, or SaaS/RegTech platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience handling RFPs from regulated industries (e.g., finance, fintech, crypto, DNFBPs) is a major plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
  • Comfortable working in Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Workspace for content creation and version control.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with capability to translate technical input into clear client value.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Master's degree in communications, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience: 35+ years in proposal writing, business development enablement, or pre-sales (preferably in consulting, SaaS, or B2B services).
  • Certifications: Proposal or project management certification preferred (e.g., APMP)
