PR Operations and Projects Lead
Our Client a government-affiliated entity in Dubai is seeking a PR Operations and Projects Lead (12 month contract) to drive the strategic coordination of international communications and public relations initiatives.
The role will be responsible for shaping global narratives, managing integrated PR programmes across markets, and ensuring operational alignment between internal stakeholders, international media partners, and external agencies.
This position requires a strong combination of strategic communications leadership, media engagement expertise, and operational programme management to deliver high-impact visibility and reputation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Global Communications Strategy
- Lead the operational coordination of the global press office function, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across international markets.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated PR and communications frameworks aligned with organisational priorities.
- Shape compelling narratives that strengthen international awareness, reputation, and engagement.
Media Relations & Partnerships
- Manage proactive and reactive global media relations, including press requests, reputation management, and crisis communication responses.
- Oversee and evaluate international content partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and brand integrity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier media outlets, broadcasters, and international journalists.
Strategic Programmes & Campaigns
- Design and manage high-profile media familiarisation programmes for global journalists and content creators.
- Work closely with internal marketing, campaigns, social media, and trade teams to ensure integrated communications delivery.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners and industry stakeholders to amplify international narratives.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strategic direction to external PR and communications agencies, ensuring performance against KPIs.
- Review agency proposals and contribute to vendor evaluation and selection processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and partner organisations.
Performance & Insights
- Define and track PR performance metrics, including earned media impact and campaign effectiveness.
- Use data and analytics to optimise communications strategies and inform future initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 810 years of experience in public relations, brand communications, or integrated marketing.
- Experience working across international markets and media environments.
- Background in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, lifestyle, destination marketing, or large-scale brand communications is advantageous.
- Proven track record managing global PR agencies and strategic communications programmes.
