We are seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations Manager to lead and manage the organization's external communications, ensuring a strong and positive public image. This role is responsible for shaping perception across media, stakeholders, and the public through clear, consistent, and impactful messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Media Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets
- Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and official announcements
- Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and media engagements
- Respond to media inquiries while ensuring accurate and consistent messaging
Corporate Messaging & Content
- Create and deliver key messages aligned with company strategy and values
- Prepare speeches, talking points, Q&A documents, and executive communications
- Ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all external channels
- Translate complex business topics into clear, engaging narratives
Reputation & Brand Management
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment
- Identify potential reputational risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Strengthen and protect the organization's brand image
- Support employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR and Marketing
Crisis Communication
- Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans
- Draft holding statements and reactive messaging during sensitive situations
- Work closely with Legal, Leadership, and Corporate Affairs teams
- Ensure timely, controlled, and aligned communication during crises
Events & Public Engagement
- Support press conferences, launches, and corporate events
- Coordinate media participation and coverage
- Prepare briefing materials for spokespersons and senior leadership
Digital & Social PR
- Collaborate with digital and social media teams to ensure aligned messaging
- Maintain consistency across traditional and digital platforms
- Monitor online mentions, trends, and emerging reputational issues
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills (bilingual English & Arabic preferred)
- Proven experience in media relations and stakeholder management
- High level of judgment, discretion, and political awareness
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Leadership, Legal, HR, and Marketing
