We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team and manage governmental relations efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Visa & Work Permit Processing
- Process and submit job offers and labor contracts through the MOHRE system.
- Apply for and obtain work permits within required timelines.
- Process entry permits and employment visas via GDRFA / ICP portals.
- Coordinate medical fitness tests, Emirates ID biometrics, and visa stamping procedures.
- Ensure all new employees complete residency formalities in full compliance with UAE regulations.
Visa Renewals & Cancellations
- Monitor visa and labor contract expiry dates and process renewals proactively.
- Ensure timely renewals to prevent penalties and overstay fines.
- Handle employment visa and labor cancellations in coordination with HR and employees.
- Complete end-of-service formalities, immigration clearances, and final settlements as required.
Government & Regulatory Coordination
- Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA/ICP, Department of Economic Development (DED), Free Zone Authorities (if applicable), and Municipalities.
- Manage trade license renewals and engineering consultancy classification updates (if applicable).
- Process establishment card renewals and related government approvals.
- Submit, track, and follow up on all government transactions through official UAE portals.
- Support company registrations, renewals, and regulatory compliance with relevant authorities.
Emiratization Compliance & Workforce Nationalization
- Monitor compliance with UAE Emiratization quotas and MOHRE requirements.
- Coordinate with HR to track Emirati workforce targets and maintain compliance records.
- Process Tawteen-related submissions and updates through MOHRE portals.
- Maintain accurate records of Emirati employees for audit and inspection purposes.
- Support management in avoiding penalties related to non-compliance.
Documentation & Legal Compliance
- Draft official letters, submissions, and correspondence to government authorities.
- Coordinate document attestation, notarization, and legal translation when required.
- Maintain secure, accurate, and up-to-date employee immigration records.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and Immigration regulations at all times.
Government Fees & System Management
- Process government-related payments including visa fees, fines, permit charges, and license fees.
- Monitor and manage company accounts on MOHRE and immigration systems.
- Resolve application rejections, system errors, and portal-related issues promptly.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of PRO experience in the UAE (engineering or construction sector preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, immigration procedures, and Emiratization regulations.
- Hands-on experience using MOHRE, GDRFA/ICP, DED, and Municipality portals.
- Fluency in Arabic and English preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license required.
