Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO) – UAE National

Job Summary
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related processes and ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role acts as the main liaison between the company and government authorities, handling visas, labour matters, trade licenses, and official documentation to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all visa-related processes including employment visas, visit visas, family visas, renewals, cancellations, and status changes
- Handle labour cards, MOHRE approvals, Emirates ID processing, medical fitness tests, and biometric registrations
- Process trade license renewals, amendments, and updates (name change, activity change, ownership amendments, branch registrations) across DED, Free Zones, and Municipalities
- Act as the primary liaison with government authorities including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, Immigration, Police, Courts, Free Zones, and Embassies
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on official documents such as applications, NOCs, letters, and power of attorney
- Maintain accurate records of all government transactions, approvals, and documentation
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration rules, and company policies
- Track expiry dates of visas, Emirates IDs, labour cards, and trade licenses to ensure timely renewals
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and external PROs/typing centers for smooth processing
- Provide support during audits, inspections, and government-related inquiries
Required Skills Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes, and government procedures
- Excellent coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
Qualifications Experience
- UAE National (Mandatory)
- 3–5 years of experience as a PRO or Government Relations Officer in the UAE
- Experience handling multiple entities or group companies is preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
