Job Summary
One of our client is seeking a Punjabi Language Expert to support a range of linguistic and communication initiatives. In this remote role, you will leverage your strong language proficiency and linguistic knowledge to ensure high-quality Punjabi content across various platforms. Key Responsibilities
Review, translate, and localize various types of content to and from Punjabi while ensuring linguistic and contextual accuracy.
Provide linguistic expertise in the development of language resources, training materials, and documentation.
Offer cultural insights and guidance on language nuances to ensure communication is appropriate and engaging for Punjabi-speaking audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and clarity across all Punjabi communications.
Conduct linguistic quality assurance checks to uphold high standards of written and verbal communication.
Support the development and refinement of Punjabi terminologies, glossaries, and style guides.
Assist with language-related queries and provide expert feedback to enhance overall project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi with strong command of both written and spoken language.
Background in linguistics, language studies, or a related field.
Experience in translation, localization, language teaching, or linguistic review roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to clearly explain complex language concepts.
Experience working with diverse teams and adapting communication styles effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Postgraduate degree or specialization in linguistics, translation studies, or Punjabi language.
Experience contributing to language technology, curriculum development, or content creation projects.
Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and remote work practices.
