Job Description

Meraki Group is on the lookout for a skilled Purchase Officer - Facade to join our procurement team. This role is essential in ensuring that all facade materials are sourced effectively, delivered on time, and align with our quality standards and project specifications. As a Purchase Officer, you will manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and facilitate the procurement process for facade components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for facade materials based on project requirements and specifications
  • Manage the procurement process from request for quotation (RFQ) to the issuance of purchase orders
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual conditions with vendors
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery or quality issues as they arise
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes
  • Stay updated on market trends and innovations in facade materials and solutions

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or facade sector
  • Strong knowledge of facade materials, construction standards, and supplier markets
  • Proficient in procurement software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and suppliers
  • Experienced in using Xpedeon Enterprise ERP for managing purchase orders, vendor coordination, and procurement documentation
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in procurement
