Job Description

We are currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our Operations Department as part of our continued operational development.

The role is responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effective sourcing, and uninterrupted supply of goods and services to support daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchase order processing.

Research and identify reliable suppliers that meet required standards for quality, pricing, and delivery.

Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts and service agreements.

Coordinate with internal departments to process Supply Requisition Forms (SRFs) based on operational requirements.

Liaise with Accounts for Local Purchase Order (LPO) preparation and supplier payments.

Coordinate with store and operations teams for inventory updates and delivery handling.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

23 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in hospitality or retail).

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and documentation.

Proven negotiation, coordination, and supplier management skills.
