Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The role focuses on vendor management, cost optimization, and supporting business operations through efficient purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute purchasing activities in line with company policies and budget.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Track orders, deliveries, and resolve any supplier-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports on costs, savings, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Identify new suppliers and opportunities to improve cost efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Support other operational and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
