Penspen is hiring an experienced QA/QC coordinator with strong PMC experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control throughout engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HND with a certificate in QA/QC from and internally recognised agency.
• 10+ years of engineering activities ideally within the oil and gas industry.
• 4+ years supervising O&G projects quality Control activities
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, client specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and monitor EPC contractor Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards, including API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, IEC, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, surveillance, and assessments during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Review and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality deviations.
• Coordinate vendor inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and material inspections.
• Monitor contractor and vendor quality performance, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues and continuous improvement.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, commissioning readiness reviews, and project quality meetings.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs, audit findings, and management reports for clients and project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Ideally

• Solid background in multi‑discipline engineering team EPC project.
• Experience managing FEED, detailed design, and EPC project phases.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, engineering practices, and international codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, IEC).
• Experience with contractor quality surveillance, vendor inspections, FAT/SAT, NCR management, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
• Strong experience in greenfield & brownfield terminal and facilities upgrade projects.
• GCC/Middle East oil & gas project experience is preferred.
