QA & Support Engineer - Insurance - Riyadh, Full Time

Our client, a leading Global Insurance organization, are looking for a QA & Support Engineer to join their Riyadh office. The Quality & Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of software applications through automated testing, technical support, and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using modern testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright or similar).
  • Execute end-to-end, regression, and functional testing to ensure application quality across releases.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support defect tracking through to resolution.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents through debugging, log analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
  • Support incident, change, and release management activities.
  • Monitor application performance and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support end users through training, onboarding, and ongoing assistance.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 46 years experience in QA, automated testing, and/or application support roles.
  • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or similar).
  • Proven experience working with Insurance and/or Reinsurance systems, including (but not limited to) OpenTwins, Praktora, and Pulse.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java for test scripting.
  • Experience with SQL, application logs, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of web applications, APIs, and system integrations.

Education & Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (e.g. financial services or insurance).
  • Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.
