POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and organized professional to represent Amideast in the State of Qatar. The preferred candidate will be currently based in Qatar and have existing professional contacts in the Qatari business, academic, and philanthropic communities. You will assist in establishing and overseeing the local operations of Amideast, develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders especially from the business and academic communities, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The position will report to the Vice President of Development and External Engagement at Amideast Headquarters in the US, will represent the organization at events, and will spearhead new business and program initiatives. The Qatar Country Representative will also be responsible for monitoring market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and troubleshooting operational challenges. This position requires a balance of demonstrated strategic thinking, marketing and outreach experience, hands-on program and personnel management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
