About The Role

We are looking for candidates who have experience handling luxury leather goods and have worked in a quality control environment. A strong eye for detail and the ability to review products with precision and care are essential for this role. Good technical understanding of leather materials, product construction, stitching, and finishing is important. The role involves thorough inspection of leather goods such as bags, shoes, and accessories

Responsibilities

  • Review all incoming leather goods (bags, shoes, accessories) as per defined QC guidelines to determine acceptable and unacceptable conditions.
  • Inspect product quality including leather type, stitching, construction, hardware, and overall finishing with high attention to detail.
  • Apply knowledge from luxury leather goods, manufacturing processes, or shoe cobbling to assess craftsmanship and product standards.
  • Measure, clean, prepare, and accurately record detailed product specifications and condition reports.
  • Assist Authenticators with authenticity checks and quality evaluation of luxury leather items.

Support internal teams in addressing client queries related to product condition and grading standards.

  • Maintain seamless coordination with cross-functional teams including photography, content, and customer service.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining condition grading guidelines and quality benchmarks for leather goods.
  • Ensure proper handling, care, and storage of all products during inspection and processing.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in luxury leather goods, footwear, manufacturing, QC, or shoe cobbling (freshers with strong attention to detail can be considered).
  • Good understanding of leather types, stitching, construction, and finishing of bags/shoes.
  • Strong eye for detail with the ability to inspect and assess product quality and craftsmanship.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control processes and condition grading.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
  • Reliable, quick learner, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
