Job Purpose
To ensure the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of QHSE standards across operations, with a strong focus on compliance, safety practices, and environmental health within pest control and environmental services activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with company and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across operational areas
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially in pest control operations
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Monitor proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all staff
- Maintain accurate QHSE documentation, reports, and records
- Support in obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications and compliance standards
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure safe handling and application of pesticides and chemicals
- Act as a First Aider in case of workplace emergencies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental performance
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Pest Control, Entomology, Agricultural Science, Plant Protection, or related field
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent health & safety certification (mandatory)
- Certified First Aider
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the environmental services industry
- Prior experience in public health pest control is highly preferred
- Experience working as a QHSE Supervisor or similar role
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and best practices
- Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation
- Good understanding of pest control chemicals and safety handling procedures
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in UAE regulations and compliance standards
- ISO standards knowledge (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
