Job Description

Job Summary

The Quality Architecture Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all architectural works executed on mega projects comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and international quality standards. The role focuses on implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring defect-free architectural delivery aligned with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for architectural works across mega projects.
  • Review architectural drawings, method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings for compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship aligns with approved specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, and Site Engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor finishing works (e.g., blockwork, plastering, cladding, waterproofing, tiling, gypsum, faade systems, etc.) ensuring compliance with design intent.
  • Ensure all architectural materials meet project specifications and approved material submittals.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to quality systems.
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure proper record-keeping as per ISO standards.
  • Support project handover processes including snagging, de-snagging, and final inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (Architecture-focused).
  • Minimum 58 years of experience in QA/QC for architectural works within large-scale or mega construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural finishing standards and quality control procedures.
  • Experience working on mega infrastructure, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Strong coordination and reporting skills.

Preferred Certifications


  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (preferred).
  • Relevant quality certifications (e.g., CQI, ASQ if applicable).
